2012 MSW Oustanding Practicum Student Award

 
 

During the Brown School Commencement Ceremony, The Clara Louise Meyer Outstanding Practicum Student Award is given to recognize one outstanding student in the MSW program from each of the six concentration areas: 

  • Children, Youth & Families
  • Mental Health
  • Gerontology
  • Social Economic Development
  • Health
  • Individualized     
                   

The recipients will be chosen based on qualities and characteristics that best exemplify an outstanding graduate-level social work student.  Each recipient is selected by the chairperson of their respective concentrations.

Eligibility: 

  • Students who are eligible to graduate in December 2011, May 2012, or August 2012
  • Students whose performance in practicum is/was above the requirements to PASS the concentration-level practicum
  • Student who demonstrates professional behavior, initiative, commitment to ethical values of the social work profession, and for whom a nomination
  • Student for whom an online nomination and rating form has been submitted and received by April 6, 2012

Submission Details:  Complete the form below as your Letter of Nomination.  Nominations may be made by a concentration-level field instructor, academic advisor, a Brown School student or self-nomination by a Brown School student.  All nominations must be submitted online by April 6, 2012.
