2007- Collaboration between The Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis & the St. Louis City and County Children’s Division identified a need for evidence based parenting programs in Children's Division.

2008-Dr. Kohl initiated a small pilot study using Triple P Parenting with parents involved with Children's Division. The parents reported liking the intervention and reported changes in parenting/child behavior.

2010- NIH funding received to test the effectiveness using a larger sample of parents involved with Children's Division.
