About the Intervention

Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) is a multilevel system of family intervention, which provides five levels of intervention of increasing intensity. Triple P program aims to prevent severe behavioral, emotional and developmental problems in children by enhancing
the knowledge, skills, and confidence of parents. For this study, we will deliver Level 5 of the tiered multilevel intervention, which is known as Pathways Triple P.   During this intervention, eighty (80) families who have been assessed and/or investigated for child maltreatment and subsequently have an open child welfare case will be invited to participate in a 13-week parenting intervention.  This intervention will be delivered in the parent’s home by a trained and accredited Pathways Triple P practitioner. The standardized Pathways Triple P material will be delivered in a manner that is individualized to address the specific needs of each parent participant.
