Purpose

Aim

To introduce KEEP to the Brown School research team and to the St. Louis Children’s Division in order to determine the feasibility and interest of implementing KEEP in St. Louis.

Public health significance

KEEP has been shown in other geographic areas (Eugene, OR and San Diego, CA) to reduce placement disruptions.

Population

While there were no human subjects involved in the study, KEEP is parent training for foster care parents.

Telephone calls to discuss session video tapes and session methods.  

Subsequent research to which you expect this work to contribute

KEEP is one choice of parenting training programs that could be taken up by the Children’s division to reduce placement disruptions.
