Project Update as of 09/23/2009

Description:

The Independence School District has an ongoing partnership with Children’s Division serving the Non-CAN report population as well as contracted work with Family Support Cases through their Child Welfare Initiative.  With support from the Health Care Foundation, they added a partnership with KVC Behavioral HealthCare to augment their family liaison services with more indepth in-home family therapy for families with greater mental health needs. Outcomes include parenting stress, child behaviors/mental health and school success and reports of abuse and neglect.
