Limited Enrollment

To ensure a quality learning environment, enrollment is limited for our workshops.  We accept registrations on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration is not complete until payment has been received.  If there is excessive demand for a particular workshop offering, we will compile a wait list.

Program Locations & Parking

Unless otherwise noted, all classes will be held on Washington University’s Danforth Campus, primarily in Goldfarb Hall, Brown Hall and the Danforth University Center. We will send building and room assignments with your registration confirmation. Locations are subject to change.  Click here for a map of the Danforth Campus

Parking arrangements vary by program location. For each class, we have secured parking at a cost to you of $5 or less.  For most programs, parking will be in the Danforth University Center garage, at a cost of $1/hour, up to a daily maximum of $5. Please comply with all Washington University parking policies. The Brown School is not responsible for any parking tickets you may receive. Click here to learn more about parking at Washington University

Late Registration

The preferred registration deadline for each workshop is generally one week in advance of the workshop date.  Late registrations will be accommodated, up to the capacity limit of the class.

  • Online registration & payment is recommended if you are registering 3-7 days in advance of the workshop, so that your spot is secured.
  • Online registration closes 2 days in advance of the workshop.  Once online registration is closed, clicking on the workshop's "Register Online" link will produce a message indicating whether day of event walk-on registrations will be accepted.  This message will also provide the information you need to register day of event, if applicable.

Late registration parking for all events on the Danforth Campus will be at the Danforth University Center garage, at a cost to you of $1/hour, up to a daily maximum of $5.

Refunds/Registration Cancelation

Once you have registered, there are no refunds, unless a class is canceled or there is not space in your requested class.

Students wishing to cancel a registration will receive credit towards another Brown School professional development class, provided they give 3 days’ notice of their change in plans.

Discounted Registration

For most classes, we offer a 40% fee discount to Brown School field instructors/adjunct faculty and an 80% discount to full-time graduate students enrolled in any program relevant to our offerings. Students will be asked to show their school ID when they arrive for the program.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Most of our classes are eligible for Missouri & Illinois Social Work CEUs, as posted in the individual class descriptions. Social work CEUs are generally acceptable for LPCs and psychologists, so long as the workshop subject is relevant to their practice.  Certificates are always issued within 2 weeks of a class or event; usually, they are available at the close of the class. Late arrival, early departure or partial attendance in a course or series will result in a proportional loss of CEUs.
